About us
The Horse & Jockey is a
Traditional English Village pub set in the centre of Lincolnshire
in the heart of Waddington village. Originally a Sixteenth Century
Coaching Inn the pubs history exceeds that of many of its surrounding
buildings. Built from local Lime Stone and Oak framed the Grade
1 listed building also has its fair share of supernatural activity,
with the Green Lady's presence often felt!
Serving traditional locally
sourced home-cooked food our New Menu is ever adapting to popular
demand and seasonal changes.
Our Quality Four Star (Quality
in Tourism) Bed & Breakfast offers cosy comfortable en-suite
accommodation with 2 x Twins, 1 x Four Poster Double and 1 x Family
with prices from £40 per room including breakfast.
The Horse & Jockey's lease
was taken on indefinitely by Waddington born and bred Luke Shillings
in July 2008. Some Major improvements were completed prior to Christmas
and since then we have listened to local feedback which has led
to the creation of our new menu's including the new 2 for £10
menu.
